Our Final Update...
Thank you from the bottom of our heart--we never could have taken Coach Jay's materials, developed over 25 years with 40,000+ students, and made them available to the wider public without YOUR support and trust. We know this took much longer to fulfill than planned--we hope that now that you have received (or soon will) your products, you will agree that it was worth the wait!

We're super excited to be able to say that ALL Kickstarter pledges have been fulfilled, including international shipments!

Backerkit Preorders will be finished shipping this week

Just a quick update... the Purple, Blue and Black Belt books have arrived and shipping begins tomorrow. For Digital backers, all PDF's will be sent tomorrow.
We are both SO excited for you to finally get your hands on these. They've come out WAY better than we ever imagined. :)

Hello backers!
Thank you again for your patience and support. Receiving emails (including some heartwarming photos!) from you guys have really made us smile. Over 24 years ago, I (Kyle) sat in one of Coach Jay's first classes, having no idea how much my life would be impacted by both chess and Coach Jay himself.
This project has always been about helping more and more kids experience the benefits of chess that I was so fortunate to receive, so both Coach Jay and I feel a profound sense of gratitude in seeing and hearing about how excited many of your kids and students are to begin their own life-changing chess journets!
US Shipments
If you're in the US, you should have already received, or soon will have, received your White, Yellow, Orange and Green belt books. The three remaining levels (Purple, Blue and Black), will be shipped by the end of the month.
International Orders
We significantly underestimated the cost on shipping for our books--just to ship the first four levels to our neighbors in Canada is over $45--so we had to hold off on the partial shipments. For several of you overseas, the final shipping costs will actually exceed the entire amount you pledged.
As such, we will be shipping these international orders by the end of July when we have the complete sets in hand. We apologize for this further delay, but we ARE committed to getting you these orders, no matter the cost.
Coach Packs and Club Packages
Over the next week, we will be confirming shipping details for all Coach Packs and Club Packages. We noticed a few of these had school addresses, and since it's summer, we want to make sure that we don't send these anywhere where there might not be someone available to receive them!
Final Digital Copies
We ran the Purple, Blue and Black copies by a few coaches and a LOT of students. There were a couple errors that we're revising while we wait for our printer to get the paper in to print our final books, so our layout artist (and all around design superhero) is fixing these errors now. These copies will be digitally delivered in the coming weeks.

Hello Chess Coaches and Parents!
Quick update: We are still waiting for our Chess Passports and Stickers. We have White, Yellow, Orange And Green Belt books on hand... just waiting on the Passports and Stickers to arrive so we can ship these out!
IMPORTANT NEXT STEP! Final chance to make changes is Tuesday, June 5th at 5:00pm Pacific Time.
Now that we are about to begin shipping, we have to lockdown our preorders... That means it will be the last chance to update your shipping address or make any preorder/upgrade changes. If you have ordered any upgrades or additional copies, your card will be charged tomorrow evening.
A few of you still haven't filled out your BackerKit surveys--you'll receive a follow email later today if you haven't.
What about the Purple, Blue and Black Belts?
We're still waiting to receive those (our printer is in the midst of Yearbook Season!), but will have these in the next couple weeks. So, for those of you who have ordered the complete set, we are going to send you the White through Green Belts, and follow up with a second shipment when we have the last three Belt levels on-hand.
Yes, this is going to cost significantly more in shipping--but you've all patiently waited for so long that we are going to take this step to make sure that you can get these as soon as possible!!!
